| Telenet came to life when several, experienced investors and telecommunication managers noticed severe gaps between supply of telecommunications services currently available in Georgia and rapidly growing, complex customer demand. A significant investment has been made to acquire the oldest data service provider in Georgia, strengthen its management team with new professionals and retool the company with the state-of-the-art technology, in some cases, such as wireless Canopy system, absolutely unique in Georgia.
As the result, Telenet has created a countrywide, digital network with 14 regional centers unrivaled in Georgia. Telenet''s decision to combine both wireline and wireless solutions will allow its customers to receive high speed Internet access and data services in places that are not covered by the existing, conventional, cable networks.
While Telenet may be a new name in the Georgian telecommunications market, behind it stands many years of successful operational and managerial experience in both Georgia and abroad as well as trusted technical solutions provided by such powerhouses as Cisco, IBM, Motorola and others. |
