DESCRIPTION

| BaseSpace.net is a sole proprietorship of Alexander Aminoff. Our goal is to provide colocation services and professionally and proactively managed linux servers at reasonable cost to local Boston businesses. Founded in June 2000, BaseSpace.net launched its full range of services in November 2000.
BaseSpace.net is a small operation, and we try to keep our overhead low. Our data center is located in the basement of our recently built townhouse, conveniently near Porter Square in Cambridge. Cooling is provided by an environmentally sustainable ground source heat pump.
Our space is designed to accomodate both desktop/tower machines and rack-mountable units. We have Uninterruptible Power Supplies for power backup, and we offer network-accessible power strips, enabling you to power-cycle your colocated server remotely. |
