Compuware Corporation announced a new partnership with the not-for-profit Northwest Regional Data Center (NWRDC) to host the Compuware Application Reliability Solution (CARS).

NWRDC members will have access to CARS, Compuware’s comprehensive quality management and testing solution. This unique QA offering will initially be deployed in Florida and Georgia for use in state agencies, local government and K-20 educational institutions. The partnership will deliver NWRDC customers the ability to improve their software quality, reliability and performance, while reducing risk and costs.

NWRDC provides information technology services and support through a state-of-the-art data center designed to deliver customer-specific solutions, from hosting and network services to technology training for schools and state agencies.

“Our partnership with Compuware gives us the opportunity to provide our customers the ability, through CARS, to improve the reliability of their applications,” said Dr. Victor Ferreros, Director of NWRDC.

By adding CARS to its offerings, NWRDC will deliver its customers the ability to take advantage of Compuware’s proven quality management solution to help ensure that applications meet the most critical business requirements. Using CARS, customers can improve the efficiency of their testing efforts through the solution’s ability to automate the test planning, management and test execution functions.

Domain registrar and web hosting giant, GoDaddy.com, has acquired a new data center in Phoenix, Arizona.

The new data center is located in the heart of Phoenix`s "Opportunity Corridor." GoDaddy.com Founder and President, Bob Parsons, will join Phoenix Mayor, Phil Gordon, for an official ribbon cutting ceremony Monday, November 14th at 11:15 a.m. at 1402 E. Buckeye, near 14th St.

Mr. Parsons stated, ``We look forward to enriching our relationship with the city of Phoenix and the chance to be a part of its development. Both Phoenix and Go Daddy are growing at a rapid pace. It`s a great fit.``

GoDaddy.com recently purchased the 270,000 square foot facility for .5 million. It is located near Sky Harbor Airport and will house some of the GoDaddy.com computer hardware used to keep its global operation up and running 24/7.

Mayor Gordon welcomes GoDaddy.com to Phoenix`s "Opportunity Corridor" which will be home to high-tech and bioscience firms, entrepreneurs and innovators. Since opening its corporate headquarters in Scottsdale back in 1997, Go Daddy has expanded throughout the valley with operations in Gilbert, Mesa and now a second Phoenix location. The company also has facilities in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
