C I Host Expands Data Center Web hosting provider C I Host announced last week it has expanded its core data center by 8,000 square feet to handle its rapid growth. The core facility in Bedford, Texas has now been expanded nine times and has room for one more phase expansion before it is fully employed.

"We are already working on our second facility in the Dallas Fort Worth area," says Christopher Faulkner, CEO of C I Host. "It will be online and operational within 12 months to allow us to continue to expand."
The Web host is adding 600 new dedicated servers and more than 4,000 new shared hosting accounts per month, in addition to completing more than 50 colocation deals per month. C I Host has data centers in Dallas, Texas, Los Angeles, California, Chicago, Illinois and Newark, New Jersey, as well as a planned opening in London, England.
Over the last 18 months, C I Host has expanded many of its facilities and developed an anti-scam toolbar and other strategies to protect Internet users from Internet crime. The company has also developed Web-based technology to expand the market for musicians and artists to sell their products and services and to help arts-related nonprofits to raise funds to help those affected by national disasters.
